Well it use to work but here is another solution

Then try this

Create a non adjacent doc to old mail domain that points to a new cretaed blank db

Have a agent run on that db on new mail. The agent will take each mail and change old domain to new domain on all the users listed in the recipients field and then create that doc in the mail.box on the server and then delete the orginal doc.
